Installed in a darkened room lit by candlelight, Clothes features a video projected onto an ironing board, showing me sorting garments from my childhood closet into piles: keep, give away. The actual clothes remained on the floor below the projection — frozen in the positions they had been assigned — while the looping video reenacted the process overhead. The result is both mundane and ghostly: an elegy to memory, attachment, and the quiet labor of letting go. First exhibited in Show Vacancy at Residenza d’Epoca, Florence, alongside artist Leon Jones.
